OTP Family
The One-Time Programmable (OTP) family is our most extensive product line comprising of four products. Each product is specifically designed to target a certain market and all products are designed to include all necessary circuitry needed for writing, reading, and exercising that block in all cases. There is no need for additional circuitry or operation to be performed.
NovoBits OTP
This product is targeting the eFuse replacement market as well as eMemory competitors. It is designed to be extremely small foot print and use for register applications in small bit counts from 8 bit – 512 bit ranges. NovoBits uses only pins for programming and have maintained parallel outputs as well as parallel inputs. It is specifically designed to be a drop in worry-free replacement for all poly fuse and eFuse products.
Novobit SPX OTP
This product is targetted for the analog trimming market. The OTP memory contains the core SmartBit and NovoBits product with additional circuitry and functionality. These features include a serial shift register for single pin loading and unloading of data as well as a preview mode. Data is input using the serial shift register and data can be read back either through that maintained parallel outputs or from the serial out pin. The preview mode is built off of volatile latches that allow that user to view the data on the parallel output lines before burning to ensure the correct values are there before final configuration. With these features the customer does not need to worry about designing their own circuitry for trimming.
NovoBytes OTP
This product is targetted for the code storage and configuration market. The memory is configured in an
addressable array with 8 bit – 64 bit word configurations. It is targeted are bit counts from 64 bit counts up to 32k bits. The memory is designed to have an ultra-low power mode as well a low programming current.
NovoHD OTP
This product also targets code storage and configuration market. The memory is targeting higher denser bit count applications from 16k bit – up to 4M bit memories. It contains all the same features that the Nano IP has.
MTP Multi-Time Write Family
The multi-time write family is also based off of the core Smartbit bit cell technology. This product line acts as a simulated/virtual MTP memory. It allows a customer to write to different sheets of memory banks in 2, 4, or 8 times or more write applications. After seeing the need for customers to write a memory multiple times but not need to pay the high cost of floating gate memory this was designed for customers to have the high reliability of OTP mixed with the versatility of multi-time write memory.
NovoBytes MTP
This product is designed to target the multi-time write market. The memory is arranged as an addressable array and can be used in two different modes. The first is an auto incrimination mode where a customer can write to the memory when they want a new sheet or to rewrite they write a increment bit in which the memory will select the next sheet. The other mode is an addressable mode in which the customer can address any sheet in the memory. By addressing the sheets the can access any sheet of past data or a new blank sheet enabling more flexibility. Standard configurations are available in 2x, 4x, & 8x write, with other configurations available on a custom basis.
Memory Redundancy Family
This product line is targeting improving yield of existing memories. It is designed to be extremely small foot print and with no pin interactions. The product is designed to integrate with existing memory signals and to have no overhead.
